In a forward-thinking and global blockchain-based economy, the prevalence of gender bias that significantly limits opportunities is an unacceptable problem. Initiatives like Blockchain4Her aim to address this gap.
By highlighting the challenges faced by women-led startup companies, Bitget aims to raise awareness and encourage collective efforts to create a more inclusive funding landscape.
Blockchain4Her Key Initiatives:
Women Entrepreneur Incubation Program and Pitching Competition: Bitget will launch an incubation program specifically designed for women entrepreneurs. These programs will provide comprehensive support, guidance and resources, empowering women to navigate and succeed in the blockchain industry. Additionally, Blockchain4Her will host a pitching competition for women-founded startup companies, offering them a platform to showcase their innovations and secure potential investment.
Women in Blockchain Summit & Awards: Blockchain4Her will feature an exclusive experience called the Women in Blockchain Summit & Awards, which serves as a platform to celebrate and recognize the extraordinary achievements of women in the blockchain field. The meeting aims to create networking opportunities for female professionals, encourage collaboration and build community.
Ambassador program: Bitget will also invite industry leaders to join as ambassadors for its Blockchain4Her program, which supports gender diversity in blockchain. Ambassadors will advocate, engage, and drive positive change, as well as foster an inclusive environment.
Bitget’s Blockchain4Her initiative builds on the success of the Blockchain4Youth program and the Bitget Builders Blockchain4Youth Program, and with an investment commitment of USD 10 million over the next five years, has played an important role in inspiring young people to embrace blockchain technology. Bitget’s efforts to provide fair opportunities and promote financial inclusivity are at the heart of this initiative.
